Thai Select @ Taste of Thailand 2014
During 19-20 July 2014, Thai Society of Ontario, in conjunction with Office of Commercial Affairs, Royal Thai Consulate-General in Toronto, supported by Royal Thai Embassy in Ottawa, Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Office of Agricultural Affairs in Washington DC, organized Taste of Thailand 2014. This event is the biggest annual Thai event in Canada and is held at Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto City Hall in order to promote Thai culture and Thailand.
Taste of Thailand is a Thai Cultural showcase event with Thai food, Thai martial arts, Thai traditional dance, Thai costumes and Thai quality products. This year, Thai restaurants Pi-Tom Thai Cuisine, Thai Noodle and Little Bangkok Thai Cuisine participated, all which are Thai Select restaurants awarded by the Thai Government. The restaurants participated by selling good prices of various Thai food dishes. While having Thai food, visitors got to enjoy the performances on stage: Thai traditional performances, Thai martial arts, Thai xylophone show, Thai costume fashion show and much more. The performances are always stunning and authentic.
For the first time this year, Singha Beer, the popular Thai beer brand joined Taste of Thailand as the choice of visitors to enjoy Thai beer with Thai culture all around.
Taste of Thailand 2014, another year of success and pride of the Thai community in Canada.
