TASTE OF THAI SELECT: Nimman Thai Cuisine
Nimman Thai Cuisine is a fairly new addition to the Thai restaurante scene in Toronto, having been established only two years ago. Located at 2451 Lake Shore Boulevard West in Etobicoke this unassuming place is a family business run by a young sister and brother team and fueled by a passion for great food. Rujipong Boonyuen is the chef and has been interested in cooking and has helped out in restaurants run by his family in both Canada and Thailand since he was a kid. Located

This very popular Thai herb is different than basil used in Western cooking and is a big part of the flavour in many Thai dishes. We were seated at a small table near the back of the diningroom. The decor is very modern, and we were told that most items in the restaura

TASTE OF THAI SELECT: Sawasdee Thai Cuisine
Just north of Bloor Street on Yonge Street in Toronto lives Sawasdee Thai Cuisine, a simple little place that offers Thai food to the downtown business crowd and Yorkville locals. With a simple, clean interior and a lovely large patio out front, Sawasdee is definitely a must visit if you're in the area. We arrived on a quiet Sunday night and were served a few basic dishes that highlight the classic Thai cuisine that is most popular here. With real Thai chefs and authentic Tha

TASTE OF THAI SELECT: Green Mango
Probably one of the longest established Thai restaurants in the Toronto area, Green Mango has been offering traditional Thai food in the same location since 1995. Located at 3006 Bloor Street West near Royal York in Etobicoke, Green Mango offers West-enders a delicious menu in a gorgeous diningroom. We visited and were greeted by Tom who is the manager and has been involved with Green Mango since the 90s. The restaurant underwent a full renovation about two years ago. Althoug
